ROAD RAGE CHARGES AGAINST MAN, 74, AFTER STUCK TRUCK DRIVER ASSAULTED
HUNTSVILLE — Police are looking for video footage after a transport driver whose vehicle became disabled was assaulted by an irate driver.
They say that on Wednesday December 18, at 5:30 p.m. OPP responded to a disturbance on King William Street.
Officers responded and through investigation determined that a male driver had approached the driver of a disabled transport truck and proceeded to have a physical altercation striking the victim several times.
The victim did not require medical assistance due to the interaction.
Victor Betts, 74, of Emsdale Ontario was charged with Assault and Utter Threat — to cause Death or Bodily Harm.
Betts is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 13, 2025, at Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario.
