ATV DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERATION IN BRACEBRIDGE TUESDAY

BRACEBRIDGE — An officer on patrol who spotted an ATV driver with missing safety equipment has been charged with impaired operation on Tuesday.

Police say that on December 17, just after 4 p.m., they were conducting proactive patrols on Frederick Street in south east Bracebridge, and stopped the driver of an all terrain vehichle.

As a result of the investigation, David Marshall, 62, of Bracebridge, was charged with Impaired Operation- Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).

Marshall is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on January 7, 2025, to answer to his charge.

Frederick Street is east of Hwy. 11 between Cedar Lane Road and Morrow Drive.

The driver was stopped for a safety check of their ATV.
