WANTED MAN CAPTURED AFTER ASSAULT WITH WEAPON IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE — A wanted man accused in an assault here last week is now being held for bail hearing.

Police captured Devon McKey after seeking the public’s assistance in locating him following an assault with a weapon in Huntsville.

On Oct. 30, at 10:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault involving a knife and possible firearm on King William Street.

The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said it was an isolated incident. However, with weapons involved, the OPP always urges the public to be aware of their personal safety.

McKey fled the scene and was being sought by police, who described him as a 34-year-old white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 140 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was known to frequent the Huntsville area.
