MOTION CAMERAS ALERT OWNER TO POSSIBLE INTRUDERS AT COTTAGE

MUSKOKA LAKES Motion-detecting surveillance cameras that alerted a cottage property owner of possible intruders have police looking for a pair of suspects.

They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two people in a daytime attempted break and enter in Muskoka Lakes Township.

On November 26 officers from the OPP’s detachment in south Muskoka say they responded to a concern from the owner of a seasonal property on Peninsula Road in Muskoka Lakes Township who received alerts from surveillance cameras on the property.

Officers assisted and confirmed that the suspects were not successful in getting inside the residence and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
