LETTER: MUSKOKA ADVENT CHOIR RAISED $8,000 FOR CHRISTIAN CHARITIES

LETTER TO EDITOR

The Muskoka Advent Choir, on the road again for Advent 2023, has enjoyed a wonderful season of presenting the Christmas story in song in six concerts across the Muskoka area.

We are so grateful for the continuous promotion of each concert by MuskokaTODAY.com, drawing people to our concerts.

As a non-profit volunteer community Choir our goal is two-fold: to bring the message and joy of Christmas to Muskokans, and to raise funds for local Muskoka Christian charities, including the Muskoka Chaplaincy Association, the Orillia Pregnancy Resource Centre, and The Door YFC Youth Drop-in Centre.

As a result of the promotional support of MuskokaTODAY.com,  and the generosity of all who attended our concerts, in excess of $8,000 has been raised for these three worthy organizations through free-will offerings.

Our profound thanks to all for sharing so freely in this time of giving.

Have a blessed Christmas.

Linda Ellsworth

Muskoka Advent Choir director

The 52 members of the Muskoka Advent Choir sang widely with passion and praise for the Advent season leading up to Christmas.
