DRILL STOLEN FROM WORKERS PREPARING FOR GRAVENHURST WINTER CARNIVAL POLAR BEAR DIP

GRAVENHURST — The fun of Gravenhurst’s Winter Carnival had a damper put on it even before it began.

Police are investigating the theft of tools from Gull Lake Rotary Park Tuesday Feb. 14 at 8:45 a.m.

A volunteer was preparing an area for the Polar Bear Dip and while at his vehicle for a moment a person stole the Dewalt drill with a custom bit valued at $800.

The suspect is described as in his mid-20s, medium build, wearing a black hoodie and was walking two grey dogs.
