DRIVER DIES IN COLLISION ON WINHARA ROAD AND ECCLESTONE DRIVE IN BRACEBRIDGE THIS AFTERNOON

BRACEBRIDGE — Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision early this afternoon that claimed the life of a driver, just off the south-west Hwy. 11 entrance to Bracebridge.

They say emergency crews responded after two vehicles collided on Winhara Road at Ecclestone Drive at 1:40 p.m. Monday.

One person was transported to hospital, however life saving efforts were unsuccessful.

The police investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team and the area will be closed to traffic.
