BALA — Santa arrived extra early in Bala today.
It was almost balmy as the jolly gent toured through town bringing up the rear of a fun parade that’s always his first parade sighting.
Hundreds lined Hwy. 169 this afternoon welcoming him and a stream of trucks and trekkers with enthusiastic applause and cheers start to finish.
A happy return after a COVID break.
The Bracebridge legion pipe band set the right tone for float after float adorned with festive decorations, colours and lights.
It was a great way to start a six-week holiday season now that will see Santa hitting the streets of every town and village day and night.
