MUSKOKA — In 2010 Morris Conte was murdered and his remains spread throughout Muskoka and an Oro-Medonte.

Monday, a second person was arrested in relation to this ongoing investigation.

On Sept. 26, a dozen years after he was reported missing in Bolton, Orillia OPP arrested and charged Antonino Lucia, 62, of Woodbridge, with first degree murder contrary to section 231 of the Criminal Code.

Conte, 45, went missing May 21 in the Town of Caledon.

The next day the dismembered human remains were located in the Sugarbush area of Oro-Medonte Township and on Maplehurst Road in Lake of Bays Township.

Six days later more human remains were located on Stoneleigh Road on Hwy. 117 East, between the downtowns of Bracebridge and Baysville.

A post-mortem examination revealed that the human remains located at all three locations belonged to Conte.

One person was charged in July 2011 in connection with the death.
