COTTAGE BUNKIE BLAZE SATURDAY HAS ALL 3 STATIONS RESPONDING TO PINE LAKE

GRAVENHURST — Fire crews from all three stations were called to a cottage bunkie fire this morning that proved “stubborn” to respond to.

Firefighters from stations 1, 2 and 3 rushed out just before 10:30 a.m. to Muriel Crescent on Pine Lake.

A tweet said: “Terrain is making this cottage bunkie difficult to reach. Crews are making progress, however the fire is seated and is also located in a stubborn area. Water supply has been established via portable pumps on Pine Lake.”

About 20 firefighters were on the scene.

No damage estimate or injuries were reported.
