UPDATE: MISSING BRACEBRIDGE MAN FOUND WEEK AFTER GOING MISSING

BRACEBRIDGE — A man missing since last Friday has been found today.

Police had said earlier today that they were asking the public to help find him.

The OPP were investigating after Shawn Doucette’s family called them Monday, March 28, at 10:00 a.m. to say the 29 year-old had left his residence in Bracebridge and did not return. And his family is concerned for his safety.

Doucette was described as 5-foot-11, with a slim build, short dark hair, a short beard and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark grey sweat pants and a white jacket.

He has a large tattoo of a rose on the left side of his neck.

Police said late Friday afternoon that Doucette had been located, a week after going missing.

Shawn Doucette, 29, was last seen March 25. He is 5-foot-ll with brown hair and a tattoo of a rose on the left side of his neck.
