GRAVENHURST — Another look at a day to remember.
Yesterday’s Remembrance Day service was a rare public gathering after last year’s more restricted indoor ceremony due to COVID.
More than 100 community members gathered for the first time in two years to join legionnaires mark the solemn occasion on a windy Nov. 11 morning.
Here’s just part of what it looked like ….

Mark: I want to thank you for your thorough coverage of Remembrance Day services in Gravenhurst. Your stories posted yesterday (the 11th) and today (the 12th) gave us a chance to see some of the many people at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 302 who were responsible for organizing and presenting our services of remembrance. We thank them for their efforts and you for chronicling those efforts.
Thank you. Hal and Judy Humphries
