MOTORCYCLIST FLOWN TO HOSPITAL WITH ‘LIFE-ALTERING’ INJURIES

MUSKOKA LAKESA motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto hospital early yesterday afternoon with what police describe as “life-altering” injuries after colliding with a car on Peninsula Road.

All four people involved in the crash were taken to hospital.

Provincial police, Muskoka EMS and Muskoka Lakes Fire responded to the collision on Muskoka Road 118 near Peninsula Road on Sunday, July 25, at 12:20 p.m.

They the car had three people who were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

But the motorcycle driver suffered “life-altering injuries” and was airlifted to a Toronto hospital where he remains in stable condition as of late Monday morning.

Muskoka Road 118 was closed for OPP Technical Collision Investigators to examine the scene.

A serious accident on Peninsula Road in Muskoka Lakes Township just after noon Sunday involved a motorcycle and three people in a car who were all taken to hospital.
