BODY OF SECOND VICTIM IN BOATING ACCIDENT RECOVERED

WINDERMERE — Despite inclement weather, late this afternoon police divers recovered the body of a second victim of a Lake Rosseau boating accident last night in Windermere.
Police reported this afternoon that a 4 p.m. they found Donna Wiley, 51, of Oakville.
She was in one of two boats that collided at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday in front of Windermere House and Windermere Marina.
Police said six people were on board the boats at time of the collision and four were rescued from the water and rushed to hospital with injuries. Three of the injured have since been released from hospital and one was airlifted to a Toronto area hospital where they are being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Unfortunately, a 13 year-old girl from Toronto died at the scene.
A search for Wiley began last night and resumed this morning, continuing throughout the day despite rain
A 4 p.m. OPP divers recovered the body.
The investigation is ongoing.
The two victims are the seventh and eighth people to die on Muskoka waters this summer.
