GRAVENHURST BOATER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERATION AT MUSKOKA WHARF

GRAVENHURST — A sea of change may be about for a Gravenhurst boater found by police at the Muskoka Wharf last night.
The OPP say they got a call at 9:10 p.m. from a member of the public about a boater who appeared to be impaired.
Officers located the man and arrested 61-year-old Bradley Binder.
He was charged with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).
Binder is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 20, 2021.
The penalty for impaired operation of a vessel is the same as when operating a motor vehicle and therefore this operator had his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
