ARGUMENT LEADS TO DRUG CHARGE IN GRAVENHURST SATURDAY

GRAVENHURST — A disturbance call yesterday afternoon has led to police to charge a local man with drug possession.

Police say they got a call to Ridge Road Saturday, June 12, where they found several parties involved in a verbal argument.

As a result officers arrested and charged a 35-year-old John-Paul (J.P) O’Hara, of Gravenhurst, with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Section 4(1).

O’Hara is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 20, 2021 to answer to this charge.
