SHOPPERS ‘SHOPLIFTERS’ COULD FACE LOCKDOWN IF IDENTIFIED

GRAVENHURST — A couple of alleged shoplifters could be in for a lockdown if police can identify them.

The OPP say they are investigating a theft at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Muskoka Road South in Gravenhurst two weeks ago.

They say a woman and man entered the store Friday Feb. 12, just after 3 p.m., after which staff reported $200 in merchandise had been stolen.

Police obtained store surveillance footage of the suspects and are asking the public’s help in identifying them.

The woman is described as 5-foot-6 and was wearing a white coat.

Her male companion is about 5-foot-7 and had on a black-and-white checked jacket.

Police ask that if anyone has information they can contact the OPP at Bracebridge at 1-888-310-1122.

Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and you will remain anonymous. Being anonymous, you will not testify in court and your information may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.
