HUNTSVILLE MAN, 49, CHARGED WITH LURING CHILD UNDER 18

HUNTSVILLE A local man faces three counts of Adult Luring a Person Under 18 years of age by means of Telecommunication.

Provincial police say officers with the Huntsville detachment, the Muskoka Crime Unit, and Child Exploitation Unit and Digital Forensic Unit of the OPP have been investigating a sexual assault involving a young person and an adult that has led to charges.

Police say they received a complaint from Cybertip.ca in late December that a young person had intimate contact with an adult male.

As a result of the investigation, Kevin Cameron, 49, of Huntsville, Ontario, has been charged with three counts of Adult Luring a Person Under 18 years of age by means of Telecommunication.

Cameron is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville, at a later date.
