2 COVID CASES IN GRAVENHURST AMONG 24 IN SIMCOE-MUSKOKA

MUSKOKA — Among today’s 615 cases reported in Ontario are 24 from the weekend in Simcoe and Muskoka.

Two of them are Gravenhurst residents: the male and female are both aged 18-34 and are under investigation as to cause.

Of the cases posted Oct. 5 on the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit website

9 are from New Tecumseth

7 are from Barrie

3 from Bradford-West Gwillimbury

2 Gravenhurst

2 Wasaga Beach

1 Innisfil

They include 9 with close contact and 4 from an institutional outbreak.

One is a Barrie male under age 17.

And 8 are under investigation.

Mask use is increasing as the pandemic spreads with 24 cases in Simcoe and Muskoka over the weekend, including two in Gravenhurst.
