CLOTH MASKS MANDATORY IN CLASS, ON BUS — NO MEDICAL MASKS

MUSKOKA — If you haven’t got cloth mask for your school kid now — better get sewing fast.

Or save up — because buying a good one isn’t cheap if you can’t pick up a free one from local volunteers.

With Ontario students returning to the classroom next week, new guidelines from the local school board make masks mandatory for all grades — kindergarten to grade 12.

And parents and caregivers must provide your own masks, which some parents predict means at least four a day to account for re-use and losses.

That’s the word trickling out from the Trillium Lakelands District School Board in a chart making the rounds on school social media sites.

They say on the bus and in class kids will have to cover up with cloth.

No medical-grade masks will be allowed, according to their chart.

The same appears to apply to teachers and staff.

See for yourself below.

Mask guidelines say all students must bring their own mask.
