SIREN SALUTE TO HOSPITAL WORKERS FRIDAY AT 2:15 P.M.

BRACEBRIDGE — A salute to front-line health-care workers here this afternoon will see OPP, firefighters and paramedics parading up Manitoba Street to the hospital.

At 2:15 p.m. emergency service workers from the Bracebridge OPP, the Bracebridge Fire Department and Muskoka Paramedic services will be doing a short parade to salute the front line health care workers at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare Bracebridge site.

The route will go from Manitoba street to Ann Street and the in front of the emergency room doors to the back of the hospital, ending at the front entrance.

Those who are friends of hospital workers or have with social media contacts with them are asked share the parade with staff members who are not able to attend.

It’s part of a growing show of support around the world for workers involved with the coronavirus pandemic.

EMS siren salutes have been popping up across the country in recent days like this one in B.C.
