FORD TELLS COTTAGERS – STAY AT HOME

Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

MUSKOKA — Premier Doug Ford is reaping some rare high praise in his handling of the pandemic.

And he’s getting stern, too.

Today in a Queen’s Park briefing, he warned Ontarians against coming to their cottages and taking food out of the mouths of Muskokans and straining local hospital services that will be challenged to meet the needs of the resident population in the days and weeks ahead.

He may have gotten half that message a couple weeks ago when Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith alerted him to the health situation.

Premier Doug Ford said cottagers should stay at home and not tax local health and food resources.
