UPDATE: SNOWBIRDS MUST SELF-ISOLATE 14 DAYS

Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

MUSKOKA — Canada is now officially ordering all snowbirds to self-isolate themselves when they return home – and may even close the border.

This after Ottawa told people not to travel abroad.

In addition, Sunday, all casinos must close by 5 p.m. Monday.

Ontario has asked hospitals to limit elective surgeries.

And Quebec has ordered all bars and restaurants to close and restaurant to limit customers.

This as the coronavirus grips the world in terms unseen in decades.

In the U.S. they’ve cut interest rates to near zero.

Canada is considering all options in COVID-19 fight, including closing the border and ordering all snowbirds to self-isolate once they return home, Prime Minister Trudeau said Sunday.
