AND THE BAND PLAYED ON … TOGETHER, APART

Call is music to soothe aching souls.

An online music performance by the Cory Band from Rhondda Valley in Wales is inspiring musicians and bands at home to practise together while self-isolating.

Gerry Gerhart It Huntsville musician Gerry Gerhart says it’s possible to play together over the internet using a service called eJamming.

He’s encouring the in-hiatus Muskoka Concert Band (MCB) to do likewise, after they had to cancel their St. Paddy’s Day Salute due to the virus; same goes for the Gravenhurst Bifocals who are also hoping (along with the MCB) to get back for a spring concert.  

A lot of celebrities are performing virtual concerts for those self-isolating, but not like this, we think.
