LETTER: EXCELLENT EMS — ‘VERY PROUD, GRATEFUL’ OF THEM

LETTER TO EDITOR:

I’d like to express our thanks and commendation to all of the EMS personnel, fire and rescue, volunteers and OPP who attended yet another serious crash on Mortimer’s Point Road last Wednesday night (Aug. 28).

Their professionalism was truly impressive.

It took approximately 45 minutes to extricate the driver from the wreck — while seriously injured.

The EMS personnel assured us his injuries did not appear life-threatening.

We should be very proud and grateful that we have such a skilled group attending us when we most need them.
