CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE AITCHISON OPENS OFFICE SEPT. 9 IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE With still no official word yet on when the Oct. 21 election campaign will begin, candidates are already lining up office space and going door-to-door meeting with voters.

The latest is Scott Aitchison, the Conservative Party of Canada candidate for Parry Sound-Muskoka.

The Huntsville mayor, who is on leave the next seven weeks, will be opening his campaign office in Huntsville Monday, Sept. 9, at 11:30 a.m., till 2 p.m.

It’s located at the former train station at 26 Station Road.

He will be there for a ribbon cutting, barbecue.

And he will say a few words to kick off his bid to be member of Parliament.

Liberal candidate Trisha Cowie opens her office Thursday night in Bracebridge.

No word yet from the Greens, NDP and People’s Party about office openings yet.
