PORT SYDNEY BEACH CLEARED FOR SWIMMING FRIDAY

HUNTSVILLE The swimming advisory for Port Sydney Beach has been lifted as of July 5.

Just in … Health unit clears Port Sydney beach on Mary Lake for swimming.

The Town of Huntsville just sent out a notice at 3 p.m. Friday.

Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has confirmed that the water is safe for swimming based on July 4, 2019 test results.

Town of Huntsville swimming lessons programmed for Port Sydney Beach will resume as scheduled. For more information regarding Port Sydney swimming lessons please ask to speak with Cameron Labonte through the Canada Summit Centre Customer Service team at 705-789-6421.

All beach water samples can be viewed on the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit website.

That leaves just two beaches in Gravenhurst under advisement.
