WATER LEVELS LEAVE DOCKS NOW ON LEVEL AT MUSKOKA WHARF

GRAVENHURST — Lake levels are slowly coming down after the Flood of 2019.

At the Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst, where boats are beginning to return to moor for the summer, the floating docks are back to nearer normal levels.

The Wenonah II had its maiden voyage of the season, a membership cruise for Muskoka Steamship Society members. Saturday regular sighteeeing trips begin, including Peter’s Players’ first music cruise.

And you can see how the walkways onto them are more navigable and are no longer an uphill battle boarding them.

Here’s a quick look before and after, a month apart: April 29 and May 27.
