FORD AGREES TO MUSKOKA RIVER MANAGEMENT MEETING SOON

FLOOD NOTES: Saturday, May 4, 2019

MINETT — In his meeting Friday afternoon with Doug Ford, Muskoka Lakes Township Mayor Phil Harding (get bigger photo) received assurance from the premier that there would be follow-up on the Muskoka River watershed management plan.

And that Muskoka representatives would be invited to a meeting, which could be held within a week.

Muskoa Lakes Township Mayor Phil Harding met with Premier Doug Ford Friday (May 4) in Minett and Ford him told there’d be a government meeting – possibly in the next week – to address the Muskoka River management plan, and that Muskoka municipal reps would be able to attend.

The amount is in honour of the OCC’s 107 years.

The money is gong to Muskoka Victims Services, to administer.
