WOMAN, 54, ON ATV DIES IN ROLLOVER THURSDAY

CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES A 54-year-old woman is dead after falling off an ATV here Thursday night.

A 54-year-old woman died late Thursday afternoon after being ejected from her ATV.

Provincial police from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment and emergency crews were called to assist at an ATV collision at a property on Fenel Road shortly before 5:30 p.m.

They say a lone female rider was located by friends, after her ATV rolled and she was ejected from the machine.

The 54-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The area of the crash has been cordoned off and police will remain on-scene for several hours while OPP members trained in collision reconstruction measure, document the scene, and gather evidence. OPP from the City of Kawartha Lakes continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
