GOOD NEWS! ITS TWO STORES, NOT ONE, SAY MCNAUGHTONS

GRAVENHURST — Ian and Tara McNaughton, who have announced big business plans for the downtown, say it means not one — but two new businesses.

The Home Hardware will take over Stedmans V&S, which is closing.

And the fashion, footwear and yarn business from Stedmans will move to a new permanent and larger store downtown after Labour Day.

That location hasn’t been announced, but it will have a new name.

The other half of the Stedmans goods will be rolled into the friendly, walk-in hardware, which will expand next door into the Elephant’s Trunk, which is moving out in June.

The downtown Home Hardware should be open in February.
