PICK-UP DRIVER ON MUSKOKA ROAD CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

BRACEBRIDGE — A Bracebridge man faces an impaired driving charge after a police stop Saturday afternoon.

A 71-year-old Bracebridge man faces an impaired driving charge after an afternoon police stop on Saturday, March 23.

Provincial police say they arrested an impaired driving suspect on Saturday March 23.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m., the OPP stopped a pick-up truck on Muskoka Road in Bracebridge.

Officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle and the conversation led to a roadside screening test, which the driver failed.

He was subsequently arrested.

Charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle – Blood Alcohol Concentration, under the Criminal Code, is 71 year old Robert Gale.
