Another look at Santa in Gravenhurst Saturday

GRAVENHURST – Santa was in fine form here Saturday in his annual visit.

Here’s another look at the local parade.

And as if anyone forgot what this was supposed to be all about.
They came by canoe and bike from the Shining Waters shop.
What’s a Santa Claus parade without Skokie and a snow person.
It was all aboard the Giant Tiger train you couldn’t miss.
Heritage committee chair Hank Smith and faithful courier de bois.
The Segwun was festooned in ribbons and bows floating downtown.
Three vintage sleds were perfect for this year’s weather.
Jumping for joy were these Just for Kicks young ladies.
Just for Kicks looked sharp in their white athletic wear.
The Scouts remind everyone of their Breakfast With Santa Dec. 8.
With the band playing, this float featured an outhouse and piping for “natural gas.”
Not sure what it was or supposed to be, but the Sawdust City folks did a great job creating it.
