MCA piano recital Sept. 29 features local pianist Kyung-A-Lee

Kyung-A Lee presents two 17-minute pieces and a short lecture on each at noon Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Gravenhurst United Church. A presentation of the United Church and Muskoka Concert Association.

GRAVENHURST — Muskoka Concert Association and Trinity United Church invite you to enjoy a short noon concert of Monumental Piano Works with Kyung-A Lee at the United Church.

Born in South Korea and now a local to beautiful Muskoka, Lee’s passion for classical music has allowed her to study and perform internationally.

Enjoy a piano lecture and recital, consisting of a program featuring monumental works by Bach-Busoni’s Chaconne (17 min.), and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue (17 min.), with a lecture on the historical background of the compositions and the composers.
