Dan Blum, one of her former teachers at St. Dominic’s Catholic High School in Bracebridge, wrote: “She was a vibrant young lady who was a pleasure to teach and work with at St. Dominic CSS.”

High school friend Tim Wykes posted:

Danielle Edmonds graduated from St. Dominic’s Catholic High School, in Bracebridge.

“Danielle was such a joy. I have so many fond memories of playing music with her. We were all high school friends, but once we learned Dani played violin (and every other instrument she was handed, it turns out), we had to have her on board. She added such a charm and we were ecstatic when she became a full-fledged member. Every practice, she was able to light up our dingy basement while keeping us boys in check – personally and professionally! I last saw Dani in Toronto. It was a short catch-up, but not too short to confirm to me that she had kept her incredible spirit. I’m privileged to have called her a friend. To the family: Danielle has had an indelible impact on my life and many other’s lives. She will be remembered, with love, for her time here. I wish you had more. My deepest condolences.”

Said friend Darrah (Bradley) Mumby: My heart breaks for the family. I have many fond memories of Dani all throughout her childhood and mine. She was a lovely soul inside and out.”

Hayley Cosh added: “Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished. My heart breaks for the sudden loss of Danielle. She was such a beautiful ray of light that went out far too soon. I will forever cherish growing up together, and be eternally grateful to have known such an incredible person.”
