Auto located in fatality of Sebright man

CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES — A vehicle involved in the death of a Sebright man on Sunday has been located.

Police have located the vehicle involved in the death of a 19-yer-old man at a residence in Carden Township early Sunday morning.

Police say they have identified and seized the vehicle involved in the incident.

They say that on June 17, at about 4:15 a.m., emergency services personnel, including officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP detachment responded to a 911 call at a residence in Carden Township.

There, they found Lucas Dunlop, 19, had been struck by a vehicle at a Joyland Beach location earlier that night.

He was initially transported to a residence where his condition deteriorated and emergency services were called.

Dunlop was pronounced dead at the residence.

The police investigation is continuing under the direction of Detective Inspector Scott Moore of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
