Miller’s hospital petition widely available

MUSKOKA — The Town of Bracebridge and the Town of Huntsville would like to remind residents that Parry Sound–Muskoka MPP Norm Miller has recently launched another petition, calling upon the Minister of Health and LongTerm Care, to commit to maintaining core hospital services at both South Muskoka Memorial Hospital site in Bracebridge and the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in Huntsville and to ensure that small and medium-sized hospitals receive enough funding to maintain core services.

This week the minister was reluctant to commit to that, but said she is open to listening to local voices on the issue.
