41 drivers caught without seatbelts over Easter

BRACEBRIDGE — Buckle up or be fined.

10 fines per day was the OPP average over the four days.

That was the message 41 drivers received over Easter.

Bracebridge officers did their part during a seatbelt enforcement and education blitz this past weeken.

Officers were conducting checks and raising awareness about the role seat belts play in saving lives in the event of a collision.

During the course of the four-day initiative 41 seatbelt fines were laid in the Bracebridge detachment area.
