Rhodes seeks Liberal nomination
GRAVENHURST — Provincial Liberals could be going with a familiar candidate June 7 in the Parry Sound-Muskoka riding.
Brenda Rhodes, who ran and lost to incumbent Norm Miller in 2007, is apparently one of two local Liberals vying for the 2018 nomination.
While there is no riding Liberal party, a nomination meeting is planned for Tuesday, March 27, at Tea-Beards in Gravenhurst at 7 p.m., where her supporters plans to form a new riding association to help her win.
Rhodes may be acclaimed, however there is talk of one other person who may contest the nomination.
Both are believed to have already been vetted by the provincial Liberal party association.
