They say that on January 5, at around 4 p.m., a male suspect attended Metro on King William St in the town of Huntsville ON and did a “quick change” with the cashier.
The suspect purchased a small quantity of groceries before asking the cashier for change.

The suspect provided the cashier with multiples of larger bills and asks for smaller bills in exchange.
Then after receiving those smaller bills he slid some money up his sleeve before returning the cash to the cashier and asking for his money back.

At the end of the day it was found that the till was out money and in viewing the video it was determined that a male suspect had in fact did this quick change.

The male is described as having black hair, black facial hair, white skin colour and wearing a grey jacket, and a hoodie.
Police say this is a good reminder to all employees to be aware of quick change artists.
They say it is good common practice is to have a supervisor attend should someone be asking to change larger bills to smaller denominations.
