Vinyl Tap host Bachman at Deerhurst March 2

HUNTSVILLE — Fans of Vinyl Tap will be thrilled to learn Randy Bachman is at Deerhurst Friday, March 2.

Randy Bachman kicks off the second night of his Canadian tour March 2 at Deerhurst Resort promoting his new CD “By George – By Bachman: A tribute to George Harrison.”

The host of the popular Saturday night CBC Radio One show will be at the Huntsville resort’s Legacy ballroom on the second night of the Canadian leg of his new CD tour.

“By George — By Bachman: The Songs of George Harrison ” is a reworking of the late Beatle’s greatest band and solo hits.

The former Guess Who member debuts the album for two nights this Friday and Saturday in New York, before coming home to Canada for a cross-Canada tour into August.

He’s in his hometown of Winnipeg March 23-24, where he got his start with the likes of friends Lenny Breau and Neil Young.
