MUSKOKA — Simu Liu, David Beckham, Mark Wahlberg, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Marky Mark, Cindy Crawford, Shaquille O’Neill, Jimmy Fallon, Ella Rubin, Harry Styles, Tom Hanks, Stephen Spielberg, Goldie, Kurt Russell, Kate Hudson, Justin Beiber … and the hit list goes on.

And that doesn’t include NHLers Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid and Mitch Marner.

After Marvel star Liu held his wedding stag here in July and Fallon recently called Muskoka “the most beautiful place on Earth,” while having Rubin on his Tonight summer show to talk about her Muskoka-filmed “Stirling Point” hit, TIFF’s Marvel-ous A-listers are crowding the lakes.

So who’s the latest celeb to dip their toes in the Muskoka Lakes?

None other than No. 1 NHL draftee Gavin McKenna — Whitehorse’s greatest hockey export.

He said on the weekend that he got to spend “a week or so up in Muskoka” with his Toronto Maples billet John Tavares, who also did the same for fellow team-mates Ethan Cowan and Matthew Knies.

Tavares, the former captain and team mentor, is a familiar face playing hockey in Muskoka.

No word on where or who they stayed with (they had their choice) — or if they visited the “Heated Rivalry” haunt of Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams in Walker’s Point.

But with the Leafs stars days from training camp, they may yet return to Muskoka for pre-season bonding.

However, a new coach and management may have different plans.
