HUNTSVILLE — A months-long dispute between neighbours ended yesterday in charges following an attempt by police made to first mediate.
On Sunday March 29, officers responded and spoke with both parties who they say had been engaged in serious arguments over the winter.
The accused was cautioned to allow the victim to move their belongings without interfering.
However, later that day police returned when called for a further complaint that the man was following the victim and continuing with harassment.
Police determined, based on evidence, that criminal harassment had committed.
As a result, David Pearson, 51, of Huntsville, is charged with Criminal Harassment — repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct.
Pearson is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice April 21, 2026, at Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.
