MUSKOKA PAIR FACE IMPAIRED, DRUG CHARGES AFTER VEHICLE STUCK IN SNOWBANK

HUNTSVILLE A Huntsville driver and his Bracebridge passenger were charged yesterday morning after the vehicle they were in ran into a snowbank.

Police say that on January 22, at  9 a.m., officers were notified of a vehicle partially stuck in a snowbank at an address on King William Street in Huntsville.

Muskoka EMS and the OPP arrived to find the occupants to be medically fine.

However, officers suspected the male driver was operating while impaired.

As a result of the investigation, Adam Brown, 46, of Huntsville, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Possession of schedule 1 substance
  • Possession of schedule III substance
  • Drive motor vehicle with Liqour readily available

Also charged was passenger Tracy O’Neil, 45, of Bracebridge, with Possession of Schedule III substance

Brown and O’Neil were released to appear in March 2026 before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.

Brown was also issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Police were called to King William Street in Huntsville Thursday morning where they found the driver and passenger had their vehicle stuck in a residene snowbank at 9 a.m. Both were charged with drug offences.
