BEARS U13 TEAM 6-0 WINNING INTERNATIONAL SILVER STICK TOURNEY IN PELHAM

PELHAM — Muskoka has a new hockey championship team.

The South Muskoka Bears U13 team went undefeated in winning the International Silver Stick gold medal tournament final in Pelham yesterday.

They topped seven other teams in the international invitational tournament with four teams from the U.S. and four from Ontario.

The win comes after they previously took the Ayr Regional Silver Stick tournament to qualify, going undefeated in that tournament as well.

The bears went undefeated this weekend in the round robin play before winning their semifinal game, where the Muskoka boys dominated the final game and came out on top with an impressive 4-0 shutout victory.

The record included 6 wins, 0 Losses, 20 goals for, 6 goals against and 2 shutouts.
