BIFOCALS BAND BRINGS FESTIVE WARMTH INDOORS DEC. 13 WITH CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT GRAVENHURST UNITED CHURCH FEATURING ‘CHIPMUNKS’ SINGERS
GRAVENHURST — If you enjoyed the Bifocals Band’s recent Remembrance Day performance outdoors, you’ll warm up to them more indoors in a full concert next week.
With the holiday spirit and chill in the air, the band is pleased to present their “Home for Christmas” concert Saturday, December 13 at 2 p.m., at the Gravenhurst Trinity United Church.
Their festive music program includes classics you’ll love and enjoy — like “The Nutcracker Suite.”
Plus the best Christmas music of Gustav Holst, Irving Berlin and Mel Torme (“Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire”).
They may even have a visit from one or more of those famous chipmunks.
Also enjoy an opportunity to sing your hearts out with songs you know during an audience sing-along led by the “Bifocals Singers.”
Director Kim Barlow and the 35 wind, brass and percussion players hope you’ll plan to join them for this warming musical celebration of the holiday season on this special Saturday afternoon.
Suggested donation is $20 (children 12 and under are free). Admission payable at the door (cash only).
