BRACEBRIDGE — The OPP’s seasonal Festive RIDE campaign in south Muskoka has begun with a pair of charges against drivers operating vehicles in Bracebridge Monday and Wednesday. 

On November 24, at 7:40 p.m., officers responded to a concern from a member of the public about the condition of a driver on Highway 11 North in Bracebridge.

Officers found the vehicle charging 30-year-old Joshua Worsley, of Strathroy, with Impaired Operation, Impaired – Over 80 and Driving Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available.

Worsley is to will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on December 23, 2025.

Yesterday, at 5 p.m., officers also responded to another concern from a member of the public about the condition of a driver on Wellington Street in Bracebridge.

After locating the vehicle, they conducted a traffic stop and arrested and charged 31-year-old Brett Parkin, of Bracebridge, with Impaired Operation and Over 80.

Parkin, too, is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge December 23, 2025.
