GHS GRYPHONS MUSKOKA-PARRY SOUND VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS, OFF TO GBSSA NEXT WEEK — AND HOST OFSSA NOV. 20-22

GRAVENHURST — The GHS senior boys volleyball team are tops in the Muskoka-Parry Sound high school circuit.

They swept Huntsville in the semifinals three games straight Thursday, Oct. 30.

Then, facing Almaguin in the final, they dropped the first game 25-23 before rising to the challenge in their next match winning 25-16.

And taking the best of five series lead with a 25-14 win.

Almaguin bounced back to tie the series 25-23.

The Gryphons won the M-PS championship with an easy 15-5 victory.

The team goes on to the Georgian Bay Secondary School Association finals Nov 13 at an as yet undetermined location.

GHS hosts the provincial OFSSA finals Nov 20-22 in Gravenhurst.

They are the champions!
