MUSKOKA PHILHARMONIC LIVE — WITH STRINGS ATTACHED, SATURDAY, SUNDAY IN GRAVENHURST, HUNTSVILLE

MUSKOKA — The local music scene in Muskoka is not all country, rock, Broadway, folk and Big Bands in Muskoka.
For more discerning musical palette, which requires a little more cerebral understanding of rhythmics beyond basic 4/4, booming bass, back beats and rap you can’t understand half the time, there’s the hidden gem of the Muskoka Philharmonic Orchestra.
Join them for an “enchanting afternoon filled with delightful melodies” at Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst this Saturday, March 1, and at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Huntsville the following day, Sunday March. 2.

The Philharmonic will “transport you to a world of whimsical and magical music that will leave you in awe,” says secretary Vaughn Adamson.
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the beauty of live orchestral performance in person, she says.
It’s entitle ‘Whimsical Musings.’
The concerts will feature beloved classical and popular works by Elgar, Price, Strauss, Dvorak, Giacchino and more.
Joining the MPO for both concerts this weekend is special guest and soprano Paige Meunier, of Huntsville, winner of Huntsville’s Got Talent 2025!

About MPO:
The Muskoka Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 2022, by wife and musician duo, Alana and Anna Nuedling.
Recognizing and responding to a desire for orchestral music in Muskoka, performed by local musicians for local audiences, the MPO project had its first rehearsal in November 2022, with 7 eager musicians in attendance.
The inaugural concert took place in June 2023. We have since steadily grown in membership, and are quickly becoming a beloved tradition in the local concert offerings.
The MPO is now in its second third season, presenting three concerts throughout the year across Muskoka.
Their membership is made up of intermediate to advanced orchestral musicians, mostly amateur with a few former professionals.
And they are committed to offering our communities a variety of orchestral repertoire, from classical to modern. Working and collaborating with other local musicians, we strive to attract varied and diverse audiences , sharing our love of collective music making and enjoyment.
