PARRY SOUND-MUSKOKA — Health care the heart of Ontario’s election will be sole topic of debate Saturday hosted by the Save South Muskoka Hospital Committee.

At least two candidates have confirmed their 10 a.m. attendance at the Norwood Theatre.

Matt Richter and Jim Ronholm, of the Greens and NDP, say they will be there to listen and discuss health and hospital reforms, according to committee vice chair Eric Daly.

Graydon Smith, PC, wasn’t sure on Wednesday whether he can make it off the campaign. He also did pass on a similar discussion tonight in South River where Richter and Ronholm also said they’d attend.

SSMHC was trying to reach Liberal candidate David Innes to invite him.

Daly said: “We have been very good at being non partisan. It will be a fair, sensible and well-run meeting.

“It is just on the hospital proposal.  It will be an excellent meeting.”

Daly says: “It affords us an opportunity to tell people what we think is sensible going forward.”
